Writer with a conscience
Valerie Hedges is a writer, social and political campaigner and poet.
She has been frequently published in her local newspaper and made the pages of the national press. She writes on issues affecting older people, often with disabilities, having to look for a job as a result of the recession and loss of a job or having lost disability benefits due to welfare reform and looking for work that physical they can do, particularly self-employment. She also writes on issues dear to her heart, including health issues, and writes poetry.
When she’s not trying to make it as a writer, she’s most likely watching the television, especially soaps, dramas and documentaries, reading , especially historical novels, listening to music, especially from the 60’s and is a great Seekers fan or she is cuddling her cats, Smudge, Coco and Muffin
Work Terms
Monday-Friday , weekends by arrangement ..$10 per hour /£6.25 per hour ..or articles billed by word count on arrangement
