Freelance HVAC Design and CAD/Revit Drafting-NYS Professional Engineer

I'm a project engineer with experience in MEP consulting for clients such as hospitals, universities, government institutions and large scale residential/commercial developments. Using knowledge from my mechanical engineering and IT backgrounds, I have designed energy saving mechanical systems for clients while efficiently drafting them in 2D programs such as AutoCAD and BIM programs such as REVIT. Many of these projects were LEED certified projects. Project drawings were drafted under very strict CAD drafting standards in order to better facilitate contractor understanding of our project drawings. I have participated in all stages of projects from the schematic design phase to the end of construction.

I graduated from Columbia University in 2013 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. I also have a BS in Physics from Adelphi University. I'm a licensed professional engineer in New York. Before I joined the HVAC industry, I was an IT consultant at Columbia University. I solved computer and networking issues for doctors, professors and research personnel at the medical center. This involved upgrading hardware and managing their accounts on the hospital server. I have experience with coding in JAVA, Python working with Unix/Linux interfaces.

Work Terms

I am available by email or text from 9AM to 8PM EST Monday through Fridays. I am available for calls Saturday from 12PM to 4PM EST. My standard rate is $40 per hour but that is negotiable up to a point. My preferred method of contact is email. You may also text me.
