SENIOR ACADEMIC & NON ACADEMIC WRITER

I am a senior content writer with a vast and versatile experience of nearly 18;years in various genres of writing.
I started my career as a teacher (PG assistant in English).
A good break in my career cams when I tried my hands at content writing for a reputed software company. After a couple of years of great experience, I once again got a break, as a copy editor in PHI Learning. My three years with PHI also turned out to be my learning period!
Then I had to take a break for personal reasons.
From 2009 till date, I have been doing freelance work from home assignments. My varied experience during this period onclud s scripting voice overs for educational CDs, abridging classics, rewriting ncert texts of private publishers(English, civics, geography), providing support materials for CBSE school books (English Core), rewriting popular children's stories...and the list is endless and exhaustive!
Recently I also got an opportunity for content editing of documents of engineering consultants.
My thirst for knowledge is still not quenched. I find there are several areas that I have not explored.
If given opportunities, I am ready to explore them too!

Work Terms

Being a freelancer, I take up work from home assignments. i work for nearly 4 hours a da, and spend the rest of my time in pruning my other skills like culinary, drawing, and web surfing. I work for 5 days a week.
