Veenita is an illustrator who puts down her wild imaginations into creative pieces of art, and enjoys working with different traditional and digital media approaches.

I am an illustrator who loves to work with bright colours in traditional and digital media. I can go cartoony, realistic, detailed or simple.

Growing up in East Africa (Tanzania), i am highly inspired by the Tanzanian local art which is ” Tinga tinga“. The bright colours, whimsical illustration and the surrealistic environment really caught my eye. As a child I was crazy about Lion King and Mulan, this got me to dream about working for disney one day.Aside from Illustration I do Photography as a hobby, I am also interested in Archeology mainly in Egyptology as well as Psychology and parapsychology. In College I have had an opportunity to study parapsychology, It was the most amazing thing I have studied besides Illustration and had the opportunity to go on a research. I was a swimmer in the Tanzania’s best and top swimming team TALISS, I have taken part and won in a ton of national events in Tanzania.

Art, swimming and photography were my ways out from the real world, the place and time i actually enjoyed to be a part of. Therefore my Illustration is very close to me, it lets me create my own world and get lost into it. I am more than grateful to have had the opportunity to Study Illustration professionally in Canada and also be a part of the wonderful country, which gave me a chance and new reason to live and to expand my knowledge in art and other fields.

Work Terms

I can work from 18-20 hours a day and prefer a payment through paypal. I am open to emails or messages regarding work and would reply promptly. Do not hesitate to contact me and ask questions.
