I like to build things and solve real problems.

Born in Hawaii, raised in Texas. I went to undergrad at the University of Texas and then moved to Washington and went to grad school for Computer Science. I arrived in San Francisco just in time to watch the first bubble burst. I am a firm believer in Open Source ( why I moved to SF ). I also have done stints in computer games, digital advertising, AR/VR, semiconductors, and in recent years been doing AI in the healthcare industry.

I'm married with a son who will be attending San Francisco State in the fall
