Work and Pray
Hello there! I am Vic Michael R. Artieda and I am from the Philippines. I am a public-school teacher as well as a chess player, chess coach, and chess arbiter in my country.
Being a teacher not only entails a lot of responsibilities, but also requires a lot of skills. I believe these necessary skills would come in handy for job I am seeking right now as a freelancer in this website. And since data entry is an extensive term, I can only give some information about myself which I think would effectively highlight my skills. They are the following:
- Good communication skills (it’s important for me to possess good verbal and writing skills for I am interacting with my students, co-teachers, superiors frequently)
- Typing skill (I engaged many hours learning “touch typing” in the past and I happy it paid off well for me. My typing speed would reach up from 65 to 70 words per minute)
- Skilled in using various MS Office applications as well as online based productivity platforms e.g., google sheets, docs, forms, etc. (I am used to these applications in making reports and uploading databases as an ICT Coordinator in our school)
- Basic research and data collection (the division in which I am teaching requires us to submit a research output every year)
In addition, I am also an active chess player of the National Chess Federation of the Philippines, a chess coach/trainer, and a certified National Chess Arbiter in my country. I also had been awarded a FIDE Arbiter norm by the Fédération Internationale des Échecs (International Chess Federation) after passing the FIDE Arbiters Seminar held at Davao City.
Given my background in chess, I am familiar with almost all popular chess training and productivity software in the market. However, I have more solid knowledge in using programs produced by ChessBase.
