Creative Director/Designer/Strategist/Product + Content Creator—Transforming beauty, fashion, lifestyle, DTC, media & retail brands—to captivate their audience and create a lasting impact.
A BIT ABOUT ME:
I've spent my career transforming some of the biggest brands in beauty, fashion, lifestyle, retail and DTC. My arsenal of experience includes strategy, digital marketing, ecomm, social media, package design, print, photo/video direction and production. I've also built and managed many prolific creative teams.
I started out designing magazines for Hearst, Time, Inc., and other companies. My love of package design led to me to Victoria’s Secret Beauty, where I created packaging for some of the top-selling fragrances in the US. My work at VSB led to becoming CD, Retail + Packaging for a beauty joint-venture between LBrands + Shiseido.
I became captivated by the growing digital world and joined the startup lifestyle media brand, XO Group. There, I led the rebrand of The Knot website and magazine, and created The Nest brand. Next, I joined Condé Nast, as Integrated Advertising Creative Director for Lucky Magazine. We were digital pioneers at Condé: first to use Social Influencers, shoppable videos, first to create an app, use UGC and create advertiser content.
After 5 years at Lucky, I combined my beauty & fashion expertise and spent 6 years as Head of Creative at Mark (a 75MM beauty/fashion brand for the young and social media-savvy) and Avon North America. I led a large staff (5 departments!) and worked with marketing and sales to rebrand Mark for global reach, and elevate Avon NA across all creative.
Now, I create strategy, branding, design and content for digital, print and packaging for retail, lifestyle, DTC, non-profit and other clients. My love of typography, photography, design, and expert knowledge of beauty, fashion, art history, and pop culture has made a strong impact on my work and my clients. Partial Client list: Acronym Fund, Anthropologie, Batallure Beauty, Blonde + Co., Cohen’s Optical, Estee Lauder, Fairchild Fashion Group, Gabes Stores, Girls Leadership, John Frieda, Sally Hershberger, Styleowner.com, Victoria’s Secret Beauty.
