About

I want to become your wordsmith and make your social media pop!

If you have looked at my resume/recent work experience, you will find that there is no social media or virtual assistant history there. That’s because this is a new chapter in my life and I finished the last one where I was working for someone else. I have worked in retail, the medical field, the legal field, and the self-preservation field for a number of years, and have a ton of experience with customer service and communication. I have a great sense of humor, a good deal of patience (earned) and an eagerness to learn about new trends and ideas.
I am familiar with all things Microsoft Office, the internet, general office machines and procedures. I have been in an office situation most of my life; I am ready to be my own boss, work on my own schedule and be creative with words, which are my passion.
I live alone, well, I have 2 cats and 59 plants, therefore, I am very motivated to meet and exceed your expectations with your ideas and projects. I’ve lived in Florida, Georgia, Alabama (currently), Maryland, Louisiana, and North Carolina, not necessarily in that order.
Being a social media assistant/virtual assistant is something that I believe I will excel at; I’ve certainly done enough writing, reporting, filing, and customer service in real life. I am responsible enough to get any work done before I play.
I like very much the idea of being in control of how much work I can do because that translates to how much income I can generate. I want to buy a house and I need extra income to save for that.
Having a 6-month-old granddaughter who lives 4.5 hours away is a source of infinite joy and hope; she is also a drain on my wallet like I never dreamed possible. Having raised two daughters on my own, I am well aware of how this cost is going to rise.
Being the sole provider makes one very motivated to find something that you like to do and can also get paid for it. Being the sole provider means that you are fiscally responsible for your own disposable income – the need for mine has risen over the past few months.
All this being said, my goal is to give you back time by performing tasks that I can do. Time that you can spend building your brand and business. I would like to develop a working relationship with you that will be profitable for both of us, grow your brand and grow my portfolio and reputation.
I can work with Facebook, Twitter, now X, Instagram, Tik Tok and any other social platforms you might use. Let me be your wordsmith!!
