I give French beginners and intermediate lessons which are personalised to the needs of students in a fun filled way!
I have now 2 years of experience comprised of a mix of virtual lessons and other lessons in-person both here in Australia and in Canada. In order to make my virtual lessons a success, I always work with the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) to create presentations and use Skype to deliver.
In addition to being a tutor, I have experience in translation mostly from English to French, and vice versa. I am currently translating for business purposes for a legal company in Sydney, but my translation skills can be applied to a variety of contexts.
Previously, as a University student, I assisted students with formatting, citing and proof-reading their research papers. I can provide my knowledge of several bibliographic styles - mostly Chicago Style, APA Style, Modern Languages Association.
I also have experience in inventory (data-entry) and customer service in retail and sales. With my knowledge of Excel, I can assist in creating spreadsheets, using general formulas of the software, and rearranging grids and data.
Work Terms
My working hours are flexible. I like to work with a student's timetable to see how we can accomodate a suitable time. I also ensure all translations are provided on time.
