My name is Volodymyr.
I graduated from Kyiv State University, the faculty of Cybernetics. I am a bachelor in math.
Been the IT manager in US company, I advanced my personal and business skills. I learned how to solve IT and non-IT problems, improved my communication skills and got deeper knowledge in technologies I've been using.
My passion is to create the systems of varying difficulty.
Two of my main scopes of the work are databases and web-development.
I was engaged in various aspects of database - architecture, code creation, queries optimization, administration for more then twelve years. I worked with Oracle DBMS, MySQL, PostgreSQL. I took part in creation of both small projects (corporate websites, systems by ticket sales, etc.) and large complex systems (human resources management system, central data warehouse of calculation the pay of the insurance payment to Pensionary Fund of Ukraine, etc.).
I have great experience in PHP/HTML/CSS (bootstrap)/JS (jQuery). I developed and supported CRMs and other custom management systems.
I also worked on the project written with Ruby on Rails + AngularJS for the last two years.
I am easy to work with new source code as well as reading and fixing the issues in someone's else code.
I took part in the projects with a different roles as programmer, database administrator, analyst, architect, project manager, project owner.
Other things I've been working with:
- Linux OS (shell-scripting, cron jobs, deploying servers and systems)
- Windows OS (Active Directory, Avaya phone system)
- Office 365 (Outlook, SharePoint, users administration)
