Founded by Urina Harrell, Vox Pop Branding is a marketing firm helping small businesses and nonprofits establish and grow their brands. As an undergraduate at Duke University, Urina discovered a passion for marketing. philanthropy was very important however most marketing firms seemed to only want to separate consumers from their money as fast as possible. As much as she loved marketing Urina couldn’t see herself living that way. As a result she decided to establish a firm dedicated to helping small businesses. Since that day her vision has evolved from simply helping small businesses and nonprofit organizations to proving to the world that business and humanity can coexist and produce financial success. Her vision is to “return humanity to the world of business by helping small and guiding large.”

In the United States there are over 28.8 small businesses; accounting for at least 99% of the businesses in every main industry sector. During the past two financial recessions, small businesses have been the stabilizing force in for local economies; making the success of small businesses essential to the future of the U.S. economy. For many small businesses, the success of their product or service is a matter of proper marketing research and keeping up with technological advances. In the United States alone over 99% of large corporations implement consumer intelligence for their marketing campaigns and have mobile applications for their organizations, this is true for only 1% of small business. Vox Pop Branding believes it is important for small businesses to have access to this technology and information if they are to compete in a global market. There are very few firms that have the capability and passion to help small businesses attain big business marketing tools for small business budgets. Vox Pop Branding feels passionate and privileged to serve small businesses and nonprofits in this capacity.
