Allow me please to introduce myself as a young lady of 33 years old, and as such having studied and successfully passed the Cambridge School certificate in the year 2000 and Cambridge Higher School Certificate in the year 2002. I also hold a Honours degree in French from the University of Mauritius and this was awarded in 2006.

I have worked as a Copy editor for 3 year and copy editing involves the correction of English and French scientific articles meant for publishing. For more than 7 years now, I have been responsible for client communication for English and French scientific, technical and medical books publications.

I am also a translator with over 10 years of experience. I can translate from English to French and from French to English from simple texts to more complex ones. I have also received several translation contracts comprising of books and documents for prestigious companies. I have covered several subjects, such as financial, banking, scientific, and technical translations.

My actual job has allowed me to acquire more than ten years experience in the management of different translation projects and production teams. I have also worked in close contact with different clients from different countries such as France, UK, and Switzerland.

I am keen, willing, enthusiastic and able to work under pressure or stress. I am flexible and can adapt to any situations. I am also a bilingual, and can read, write and speak both English and French languages confidently and fluently. I strongly believe that all these characteristics are very important and I feel fully confident and prepared to pick up the challenges that this job has to offer.
