My name is Wabo Ntwaagae, and I am very interested in becoming your new teacher. I am a 28 year old male citizen of Botswana, who is self-motivated, industrious and committed to utilizing my knowledge and communication skills to contribute to linguistic and cultural diversity through the teaching of English as a foreign language. I gained considerable multicultural exposure from living and growing up in Switzerland and the US, where I did High School and University. I attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science/ Global Politics at the State University of New York at Albany in August 2018; minoring in French. Majoring in Political Science has equipped me with the ability to think analytically and critically and provided me with solid knowledge of research and analysis techniques. Thanks to the heavy workload at the University I have learned to manage my time effectively and to be efficient when multitasking is required. The minimal supervision at the university encouraged me to be initiative and make independent decisions.
In May 2019, I successfully completed a CELTA (certificate in teaching English to speakers of other languages) course at International House Johannesburg. I have been working in Vietnam as an English for over 2 and a half years and I am eager to learn more to further hone my skills as a teacher. I possess good communication and presentation skills. I am a focused professional with an active interest in integrating technology as a resource in teaching and learning. I’m passionate about education and greatly committed to creating a fun and engaging learning environment for my students.
