I hold a Diploma in Business Management and have recently completed two certification programs: Virtual Assistant and AI Career Essentials from ALX Africa. Currently, I am expanding my skill set by taking a Digital Marketing course with Ingressive For Good. My professional background is rooted in administrative support and customer service. I previously worked as a Virtual Assistant for The Ship Group Services, a healthcare and community service company in North Carolina, USA. In this role, I was responsible for updating databases, setting appointments with therapists, managing caregivers’ schedules, tracking client payments, and overseeing task and inbox management. Before that, I worked as a Customer Service Representative for Health IQ, a Medicare and Medicaid insurance company, and Instacart, an online shopping service. My roles included processing payments, handling inbound and outbound calls, live chat support, and ensuring seamless service delivery to customers.
I possess many skills that allow me to excel in my field. My proficiency in project management tools such as Asana, Trello, Wrike (Kanban Board), Monday.com, Jira, ClickUp, and Adobe Workfront enables me to handle task management efficiently. I’m also adept at using communication and collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom, Skype, RingCentral, Google Meet, Threads, and Microsoft Teams for virtual meetings and team coordination. Additionally, I have experience with Customer Relationship Management and customer service tools like Zendesk, Shopify, Gorgias, HubSpot, and Zoho, which have allowed me to manage client interactions seamlessly and ensure accurate data management. Furthermore, my knowledge of administrative and organisational tools, including Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and scheduling platforms like Calendly, Google Calendar, and Doodle, has supported me in maintaining structured workflows and well-managed schedules.
