Where there is a Will there is a WAY

I am a design engineer with over 3 years of experience designing products in the oil and gas industry for use in deepwater drilling environments. I have been the lead design engineer on a multimillion dollar completion riser contract and I have personally designed and overseen the manufacturing of 100's of parts from the heat treatment stage to machining, welding, coating, assembly, and function testing.

Every product I designed was manufactured on site at the 200+ acre manufacturing facility. This means that I was also responsible for producing 2D machine drawings, working directly with machinists, and working as a shop engineer to correct problems on the fly. I have also worked at a Nucor steel mill and have experienced the entire life cycle of a product from the delivery of scrap metal to the shipment of an assembled and tested product.

I have extensive experience as a technical writer. I created equipment recertification programs and have written dozens of technical documents used by customers offshore.
