Saving you time by automating your manual and repetitive tasks

Do you have manual, boring and time-consuming data entry, repetitive checking or other such tasks to complete on a regular or one-off basis? I am a developer who loves to find ways to do repetitive tasks more efficiently.

Before starting a job, I will take the time to find out about your work flow and find ways to complete the task accurately and quickly. My preferred way is to write a computer script to do this, as I believe that it is best to leave as little as possible to human error.

Case-in-point: working as a receptionist at a dental practice, I found that my boss was manually tallying up payments every day. After thinking about this for a while, I started working on an excel Macro to retrieve the payments and complete all the daily and monthly calculations. This saved a considerable amount of time and we were able to go home a little earlier!

Work Terms

• I work with Ruby (and Rails), Python, Wordpress (php) and also have experience with .NET webforms (C#).
