Providing quirky, eclectic and original illustration and design solutions for your brand
At The Laguna College Of Art and Design I received four years of studio and digital art training, with a combination of observational drawing courses, as well as courses in typography, print production, and design. As the Assistant Production Manager at Trisoft Graphics I was the link between the production artists and the customers, coordinating all aspects of the art production process, ensuring that projects were on time and error free. In order to succeed at Trisoft and bring manage their highest sales day to date required me to develop strong multi-tasking skills and an ability to prioritize workload. Working at Quiksilver and DC Shoes I created their seasonal line-books, as well as POP and window displays, web banners, T-shirt designs, etc. Managing the catalog production at Quiksilver required that I maintain a proactive and positive attitude because I needed to remain result oriented while navigating all of the inevitable hurdles that pop up. This also helped me to strengthen my communication and follow through because I was working with multiple regions from Europe to Asia and Australia so it was imperative that I took the responsibility on myself to make sure that I was providing the regions with everything they needed, whether it be CAD art, logos, or product info spreadsheets. I continued to bolster my catalog and POP experience with my positions at Taylormade and Charolette Russe. Recently I had the chance to work with Google and Pinterest which bolstered my digital marketing knowledge, and gave me some fast paced real world experience with social media platforms and how to track ad effectiveness. With my work experience I’ve been worked in the design and production process for a plethora of projects ranging from catalogs, window displays and in-store collateral, to t-shirt design, band stickers, blog posts, web page banners and a whole host of other items.
Work Terms
Hours are flexible, I am located in California so assume normal working hours for Pacific Standard Time in the US. As for payment terms I would prefer a 50% retainer on approval of job with the other 50% to be paid after the project is delivered. However I am flexible and would be happy to work out other terms depending on nature of the project. Preferred communication would be either through Guru.com's interface or email. Phone calls and in person meetings can be arranged as needed
