I have 30+ years experience in business planning and investment analysis (including as a banker and an SEC-registered equity analyst in New York) working on projects in North America, Europe, China, SE Asia and Latin America.

I like working with small businesses whose owners have big plans. You can put my expertise and experience from 20 years as a Wall Street banker and analyst and 11 years in commercial banking in New York, London and Hong Kong to work for you. Detailed investment analysis and planning, creative funding options and investor relations for small, high-growth businesses in the US or abroad are my specialty.

My projects have included new and expanding businesses or projects of all types (most recently they included robotics, alternative energy, agriculture, construction, real estate development, medical cannabis, etc.) that needed new funding from banks, professional investors or government entities.

I will complete all my work using Microsoft Office applications Word, PowerPoint, Publisher and/or Excel. I do not use pre-packaged "business plan" software because none of the packages I have seen are robust enough to adapt to the nuances and unique elements of most companies' financial modeling needs (especially for start-ups) over multiple years.

Work Terms

I am very flexible on timing for completion of projects.

Very quick turnarounds are usually not a problem. The time required to complete a plan or presentation largely depends on how responsive you can be providing me with information about your products and services, pricing, sales expectations, fixed asset purchases, competition, marketing plan, etc. and responding to my questions as the project proceeds. I will include in my work for you suggestions on all of these important elements. Typically, the time needed to complete a small business plan and a customized monthly financial forecasting model covering one or two major sources of revenue over three years is a total of 15 - 25 hours spread over one to three weeks.

If you require a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) or similar document from me before the work begins, that is never a problem. Much of my work over the years has been done under NDAs. My work for you is yours and yours alone.

Once we discuss and define the specific content you need, I can usually start work on your project immediately. I will provide you with regular updates on my progress and ask you for regular feedback on the drafts of work to date.

I am committed to your complete satisfaction with my work and will gladly make minor changes to the text or graphics of your plan/presentation or the financial projections model within 90 days of completion at no additional cost to you.
