I am self - motivated, committed and innovative.
I have over 10 years in records and information management in both public and private organisations. i hold a Masters Degree in Information Science and Bachelors degree in Library and Information Science and Post graduate Diploma in International Relations. I have championed the development of stakeholder’s database and institutional repositories at both private and public organisations. I also successfully coordinated the Exhibitions of the International Conference of Agriculture Statistics held in Munyonyo, Kampala, Uganda and the report writing of the five UNDP Millennium Development Goals reports at a retreat held in Lake Victoria Serena Hotel. In addition I successfully wrote a project proposal for funding of the Building of Strong Library Association activities in Uganda.
Further more I successfully wrote a project proposal for funding of the International Advocacy Programme on creating awareness of librarians and policy makers on their role in implementation of the UN2030 Agenda and SDGs. I also successfully wrote a proposal to conduct a data literacy training workshop for Parliament Librarians from Southern and Eastern Africa.
In addition, I am passionate in research and I have conducted a number of surveys, written research papers and presented the findings at both local and international conferences. I am Self-motivated, Innovative, flexible communication skills, good interpersonal skills IT exposure (Ms Word. Access, Ms Excel and PowerPoint). I love research, travelling, making friends and sports.
