I'm a small town girl with a big dog and even bigger dreams.

I get excited about facilitating effective communication. Writing started as a hobby, but while majoring in English in college, I picked up some writing gigs with local publications and realized I had something to offer the world. I could offer the gift of communication between two parties, whether it be news sources and the public, businesses and clients or anything in between. As someone whose name has frequently appeared on bylines of publications, I understand what it means to have your name on the line, and I make it my mission to produce work you'll be proud to put your name on -- and work I'd be proud to put my own name on.

My passion is for teaching. That's my own personal target audience, the learners that fill classrooms each day. I want to pass on the gift that learning has been to me, and communicate the lifelong impact of obtaining knowledge. That's why I do what I do as a writer, to help provide the financial means for continuing my education.
