Standing as a bridge of communication, capable of connecting beliefs, cultures and languages.
Languages have become my passion. As a child, I had the opportunity of attending a bilingual school, where I got acquainted with cultures, and beliefs different than mine´s, something that allowed me to understand that there was an entire world beyond the frontiers of my country.
Years later, I discovered another passion, teaching, this is how I started tutoring English when I was 17 years old. As an avid reader and writer, I soon started to express myself frequently in both, my native tongue - Spanish- and English. Hence, as soon as my time to decide what major to study, I had no doubt, my path had to encircle: languages, cultures, and communication. This is how I followed my studies in Modern Languages, majoring in Translation and Interpreting because it did not only encompassed my interests, but also the possibility of connecting with people around the globe and serving as a bridge capable of finding a common mean of communication.
2011 is the year I graduated as a Translator and Interpreter in the UCV (Universidad Central de Venezuela). Since then, I have dealt with diverse types of texts that go from technical-scientific, medical, oil-themed to wealth and personal development.
Every new text is a challenge that I´m eager to take; it brings a new opportunity to learn and to help in the disclosure of information that will be useful for others, all this by eradicating any barrier that hinders the communication.
Work Terms
As a freelancer, I have the possibility of establishing my own rhythm of work, this after I have a prior discussion with my client, where we set up the deadlines.
In every project I assume, I love to be in touch with the author or the client, who are the ones who know best what their message is trying to convey. I see it as a team work.
