I graduated from Tomsk State University, Computer Science Department in 2004 (5 years specialist program with 4.9 of 5 marks).
During my education I have already started my carrier as a coder in 2001 doing user interface components to display beautiful graphs, progress bars and timelines. Later they were integrated into the business app for data analysis called Tessera project (Netherlands). I used Win32API, MFC, COM and OpenGL libs.
Since 2003 I found the technologies of image and video processing interesting and digged deeply into video filters, enhancing and processing algorithms for image analysis and objects detection.
My diploma project was in the field objects detection and tracking in video streams and was a start to my 8-years path in video analysis with DSSL (Moscow, Russia) company (2004-2012). I developed several algorithms for objects tracking, borders and zones crossing detection, fire and smoke detection, camera sabotage detection etc. Some of them are still used in 2019 in Trassir CCTV software by DSSL company.
In 2009 I took part in software development for biochemists to help them making analysis of water, urine and blood even in fields (if no laboratory is located around) and I decided to help him in development of that system. We made 3 revisions of the software:
- simple client-side Windows app, taking a picture of urine, water or a 96-wells test for analysis and calculation of the concentration of the substances.
- CGI-based C++ app for unix environment to be used via web interface (front end in ActionScript 3.0 with Flash/Flex technology).
- the final one was developed as a mutithreaded web-service in cross-platform C++ and python/django as REST API with mobile and web front ends.
The system is now in a product-ready stage. Several more apps were also done within his partnership between 2009 and 2013 for this company (Omega Diagnostics, Madison, USA)
Since 2013 till 2019 I used to be a CTO and CEO and now - I'm back to development.
Work Terms
I prefer agile development - SCRUM and similar methods.
This leads to more precise estimation and less surprises during development.
As far as I've seen and worked in several hundreds of projects, I'm able to estimate and complete generally any software project. You can check it out yourself.
