I am passionate about making voices and experiences heard and understood all while producing eloquent work.
I have a masters in research psychology, which has left me with many skills in academic writing, editing, research and transcriptions services. I am based in South Africa, and completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Cape Town, my honours at the South African College of Applied Psychology, and my masters at the University of the Western Cape. I have a range of work experience, from hospitalities in being a waitress while I was studying, to tutoring online and in person (also while studying). I also have experience as a research assistant and research consultant for university professors and lecturers, as well as for private individuals within my masters year. Prior to my masters, I worked in the fintech industry at a cryptocurrency company where I conducted market research for them, and I was also a part of the in-house recruitment team, recruiting and interviewing individuals for the company.
My biggest passions in research psychology lie in women's and men's health and sexual behaviour, as well as forensic psychology. Outside of research psychology, I greatly enjoy editing and formatting papers, as well as working with people and finding the correct individuals for suitable job placements both for the company, and for the individual themselves.
Work Terms
My hours of operation are flexible - I work where I am needed.
I like my payment to be conducted either on an hourly or fixed basis, and preferably when the project is completed and both myself and the client are satisfied with the work.
Communication style is dependent on the client, I respond to emails incredibly fast, as well as online through the freelancing platform. I also do not mind communicating through WhatsApp should it be preferable to the client. If an online call is required, Zoom, Google Meets or Microsoft Teams are all adequate platforms for me.
