About

I have been working at Accenture since August 2012 and this has motivated me to reach out for the greatest heights and seek challenging opportunities in your well-established Company.
I am a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Management, graduated from the University of Mauritius and moved on to pursue a Master in Business Administration, from the Management College of South Africa (MANCOSA). In addition to that I am on my second level of ACCA with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
To briefly explain my expertise, I have started my career at KPMG Mauritius where I have found myself becoming more proficient in determining the efficiency and effectiveness of the financial and accounting system of an establishment, while providing accurate measurement and opinions about the quality of a business' performance. I have got the golden opportunity to work on both offshore and local audit and got a taste of funds audit. Some of the audits of the renowned companies performed are Total, Supergroup, Maritim Hotels, The Grand Mauritian Hotel, PPP Piping System, Firemount Textile, among others. Recently, I worked on a special assignment for Barclays regarding customer due diligence and Know Your Customer (KYC) monitoring for anti-money laundering (AML) and checks relating to combating the financing of terrorism (CFT).
As you may have noticed I am a committed auditor with an ability to generate and implement effective auditing procedures and also to evaluate accounting systems for efficiency. Having a successful track record of checking various companies’ financial records, bookkeeping and accounting methods, I have been assisting Audit Managers in the performance of complex audit assignments and investigations, often undertaking specific elements of the assignment with minimal supervision.
