About

I’m Özge Güner, a Senior Software Engineer and Founder of SolidKey AB based in Sweden. With over 15 years of experience in software engineering, I’ve built a career on my passion for solving complex challenges and creating efficient, scalable solutions. My expertise spans embedded systems, Android OS development, and cloud-native architectures, where I’ve contributed to everything from automotive infotainment systems to IoT security projects.

I started my journey in tech with a background in Computer Engineering, which led me to roles at HAVELSAN and Aptiv, where I honed my skills in Android platform development, distributed systems, and full-stack solutions. During my time at Aptiv, I was proud to contribute to award-winning projects in the automotive industry, optimizing Android systems and reducing build times by 98%.

In 2024, I decided to channel my experience into my own consultancy, SolidKey AB, to help companies optimize their software systems and leverage open-source technologies. I’m driven by a belief that clean, efficient code can transform businesses, and I love working with clients to bring their ideas to life.

When I’m not deep in code, I’m an avid hiker and nature enthusiast, exploring the beautiful trails of Sweden with my family. I also enjoy playing chess, which keeps me sharp and feeds my love for strategic thinking. At heart, I value continuous learning, collaboration, and the pursuit of innovation—both in my professional work and personal life.

Work Terms

Hours of Operation: I work flexibly, typically during regular business hours in the CET time zone, but I'm adaptable to accommodate client needs.

Payment Terms: I prefer project-based or hourly contracts with monthly invoicing. Payments are expected within 30 days of receiving the invoice.

Preferred Communication: I prioritize clear and professional communication.

Project Collaboration: I’m open to both short-term and long-term consultancy assignments. I value clear project specifications and believe in regular check-ins to ensure we stay aligned on goals and deliverables.
