I am a Malaysian Chinese who lived in Australia for four years. Well, that's right, I studied there and sure I had the famous fish and chips too (I love the chips with chicken salts)!! I am a native speaker of Mandarin and grow up in a multilingual environment which English, Mandarin, Malay and some dialects of Chinese, such as Hokkien and Hakka are spoken on a daily basis. I speak Malay too :D
