I am a writer, editor, and field biologist from Northern California, currently working remotely from Queenstown, New Zealand. I write on a wide range of topics, but am particularly interested in science, travel, sports, and creative writing. As an editor, I work with challenging material to express complex and esoteric concepts in familiar terms. When I'm not working, I'm traveling, reading, mountain biking, kayaking, skiing, or drawing.
