Description:
We are seeking participants for a unique Australian English recording project on behalf of a client. Participants will work in pairs to engage in unscripted, random conversations on four different topics via Skype and phone APP at same time. Each conversation will last approximately 30 minutes, totaling about 2.5 to 3 hours of recording per pair. Participants should apply with a friend and record in the SAME ROOM using the same laptop and phone app microphone and be prepared to provide contact information for group coordination. Compensation is 150AUD / 100 USD per group and will be updated after initial test - 75AUD / 50USD per person.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in a recording session lasting 2.5 to 3 hours, discussing four topics for 30 minutes each.
- Engage actively and naturally in each conversation, ensuring a fluid and dynamic interaction.
- Utilize Skype for recording sessions.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English. This project is only available for residents of Australia.
- Ability to record clear audio using a good-quality microphone on a laptop or desktop.
- Comfortable with unscripted and spontaneous conversation. We will provide guidance on subtopics or questions to help keep the conversation flowing.

- Respond by submitting a short audio recording (less than 30 seconds), reading a provided text. This will help assess the quality of your microphone and accent.
- If selected, we will schedule a time for the recording session and set up the Skype call.
IMPORTANT: Applicants should apply with a friend or colleague as their conversational partner that is able to record with them in the same room. They do not need to apply separately. All applicants will be able to take the test.
Note: Payment will be issued upon review and approval of the recordings by the client, which may take between 3 to 10 business days.
