Cybersecurity – Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Interview Assessments Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity SME to assess and evaluate candidates during the interview process for security operations and threat management roles. The SME will conduct technical interviews, assess candidates’ expertise in SIEM, SOC operations, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, EDR, and NDR, and provide structured feedback to support hiring decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidate Assessment & Evaluation:
- Conduct interviews for cybersecurity candidates specializing in SIEM, SOC, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, EDR, and NDR.
- Assess candidates’ hands-on experience with security monitoring, incident detection and response, and threat analysis.
- Evaluate knowledge of log correlation, threat hunting, risk assessment, and security automation.
- Review candidates’ problem-solving skills in managing and mitigating security incidents and vulnerabilities.
Technical & Professional Feedback:
- Provide structured feedback on candidates' strengths and areas for improvement.
- Offer insights on their ability to analyze security threats, manage vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents effectively.
- Recommend suitable candidates based on technical proficiency and real-world experience.
Interview Process & Standards:
- Ensure interviews align with industry best practices and security frameworks.
- Maintain a fair, objective, and structured evaluation process.
- Collaborate with hiring teams to refine interview criteria as needed.
Hiring & Payment Process:
- All hiring-related activities, including contract agreements, communication, and onboarding, will be conducted exclusively through the Guru portal.
- Payments for services provided as an SME will also be processed securely through the Guru platform to ensure transparency and compliance.
- Candidates and hiring teams must complete all transactions and engagements within the Guru ecosystem to maintain a standardized and efficient process.
