DevOps – Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Interview Assessments Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps SME to assess and evaluate candidates during the interview process for DevOps-related roles. The SME will conduct technical interviews, assess candidates’ expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), containerization, monitoring, and security, and provide structured feedback to support hiring decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidate Assessment & Evaluation:
- Conduct interviews for candidates specializing in DevOps practices and technologies.
- Assess expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Evaluate hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Review candidates’ knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), orchestration, and cloud-based DevOps implementations.
- Assess understanding of monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Grafana, etc.).
- Evaluate expertise in DevSecOps, security automation, and best practices for securing DevOps workflows.
Technical & Professional Feedback:
- Provide structured feedback on candidates' strengths and areas for improvement.
- Offer insights on their ability to design, automate, and optimize DevOps pipelines.
- Recommend suitable candidates based on technical proficiency, automation expertise, and industry best practices.
Interview Process & Standards:
- Ensure interviews align with industry best practices and DevOps methodologies.
- Maintain a fair, objective, and structured evaluation process.
- Collaborate with hiring teams to refine interview criteria as needed.
Hiring & Payment Process:
- All hiring processes, including interview scheduling, feedback submission, and candidate selection, will be conducted through the Guru portal.
- Payment for SME services will be processed exclusively through the Guru platform as per agreed terms.
