We're seeking a highly skilled blockchain developer to create an innovative hybrid Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) by forking Radix and integrating key Holochain features. This project aims to combine the strengths of both platforms, with a particular focus on incorporating Holochain's offline capabilities.
Project Scope:
Fork the Radix codebase
Integrate the following Holochain features:
a) Agent-centric architecture
b) Local validation
c) Distributed Hash Table (DHT)
d) Offline transaction support, including:
Ability to perform transactions without an internet connection
Local data persistence
Synchronization mechanisms when reconnecting to the network
e) Self-sovereign identity
f) Application-specific validation rules
g) Peer-to-peer networking
h) Multi-language support for dApp development
i) Intrinsic data integrity
j) Scalability through local operations
Develop a hybrid consensus mechanism combining Radix's Cerberus with Holochain's local validation
Implement a dual data structure incorporating Radix's Atom model and Holochain's source chains
Create a flexible smart contract environment supporting both global and agent-centric operations
Ensure cross-compatibility with existing Radix dApps where possible
Implement robust security measures for both online and offline operations
Provide comprehensive documentation for the new features and architecture
Required Skills:
Extensive experience in blockchain development, particularly with Radix and/or Holochain
Strong understanding of distributed systems and consensus mechanisms
Proficiency in Rust, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages
Experience with cryptography and secure coding practices
Familiarity with peer-to-peer networking protocols
Expertise in implementing offline-first architectures in distributed systems
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with complex systems
Excellent communication and documentation skills
This project requires a high level of expertise in blockchain technology and a deep understanding of both Radix and Holochain architectures.
