About Weingarden Psychological Services
I went full-time in private practice in 2020, founding WPS, and recently made the move into group practice. I hope to continue to grow in this direction, but the business must be scalable. Looking for support in administrative duties that are only currently part time, but could grow to be a full time job.
Responsibilities:
Insurance:
- Resolve denied claims
- Negotiation fee-schedule / reimbursement rates yearly. If successful, we can discuss wage increases or bonus.
- Credentialing: maintaining current credentials, ensure credentials are set up correctly for business scaling such as utilizing group NPI if necessary, and credentialing any new contract employees who have or attain licensure.
Office finances (possible responsibilities but not necessary):
- Track expenses
- Request reimbursement from office suite mates for expenses and rent
- Pay rent, any other expenses that are not automated
- Pay contract employees monthly income
Communications (future responsibility):
- Manage incoming requests for appointment and schedule with appropriate clinician
Qualifications
- Either experience with these responsibilities or willing to learn, starting at a lower wage with option for increase wage upon demonstrating self.
- Reliability. I am not a micromanager, but these jobs must be done correctly and in a timely manner. If I'm noticing claim denials that haven't been resolved in a timely manner, I will have to micromanage which means I cannot afford to pay the higher end wages and it may not be a good fit. If you are able to keep track of details and stay on top of these things, I am happy to give a large range of freedom in the job.
- At least some work-week hour availability because that is when insurance companies are open to take calls to resolve claims.
