I am in need of a concept artist for a little game me and a friend are making. So its no big company project or anything.
Im in specific need of level/location concept art.
Here is the description of this games levels, or how they are supposed to look while giving enough freedom to takes this job.
The levels are supposed to be a weird mix of both real life (not like hyper realistic or actual IRL photographs) and a virtual reality/world. Basic story is AI, created in a lab (to test making sentience to the AI, for fun) went rouge, broke reality, went outside of their virtual world into the real world, then basically sucked in a chunk of the real world into the virtual world, creating a half real half virtual reality.
The levels are supposed to be more free roam-ish (while not being fully open world, because it is a game where you need to do progress via walking to areas and getting closer to something like most games) and its supposed to feel liminal space-ey, while also somewhat having an odd beauty to it (?). Also its a horror puzzle game, if that matters. (Also, the game itself is 3d, if that matters, though you don't have to make 3d art, infact id rather have the art in 2d with 3d dimensions, like most concept art.)
The style, if it matters, of the game is anime, though you as a concept artist don't have to be that precise with the actual style.
If you got any questions, then ask (if you can)! Other then that, you can go wild with the level concept design, anything that fits with what i said before is perfectly fine by me.
Keep in mind, this is my first time here, so i hope everything works out, so keep in mind there may be a few hic-ups on my end.

(My budget btw is 50$, so the concept art doesn't have to be super detailed. Also i have no time limit or anything, it takes as long as it takes as i guess. If im doing anything wrong please let me know. One last thing, absolutely no generative ai.)
