I am Looking for an experienced literary agent for the book I have just completed writing.
The book is an historical fiction about my childhood growing up in New Zealand in the 1970s.
The book is around 20,000 words /13chapters.

This is not the first book I have written or published, but it is the first book I have requested the assistance of a literary agent, and I intend to publish more books after this one.
I need someone who can interface with book publishers and negotiate publishing contracts and oversee book contracts.
Coordinate speaking arrangements and keep track of payments from our endeavours when necessary.
I need someone to review my full manuscript and offer creative insights and edits making sure my manuscript is in the best possible shape before submitting it to the publishing world.
I need someone to put together query letters and pitch packages collect sample chapters and make marketing plans and keep track of various submission guidelines and formats.
I need someone who can tackle the tricky stuff, like negotiating foreign rights, subsidiary rights, and keeping track of royalty statements.
Someone who can also deal with the logistics of planning book tours and hiring a publicist for completed work when necessary.
I need a literary agent /partner to work in tandem with me. Offering constructive feedback and advice as to the current state of the writers’ markets.
Also hoping to find an agent who is a member of the Association of Authors’ Representatives （AAR）
