Job Title:

Graphic Designer Needed for Modern, Minimalist Website Concept (Astra/Elementor)

Job Description:

I’m looking for a talented graphic designer to refine and expand the design of my existing digital agency website. The website is built using Astra and Elementor, and I want to develop a modern, minimalist design that enhances the current theme while ensuring a cohesive and scalable design system.

💡 Important: I am not looking for a bold, trendy, or overly stylized design. The goal is to achieve a clean, professional, and timeless aesthetic. I will provide examples of websites that align with the design elements and structure I am aiming for, so you have a clear reference for what I want.

Scope of Work:

  • Design input for the first half of the homepage and the footer – The focus will be on refining the top sections of the homepage, including the hero section, key messaging areas, initial content blocks, and the footer.

  • Expansion of Existing Design – Your work should align with the current theme and build upon it rather than creating an entirely new concept.

  • Color Palette & Typography – A refined, subtle and professional color scheme with modern sans-serif fonts (e.g., Inter, Montserrat, Poppins) to enhance readability and aesthetics.

  • Scalable & Reusable UI Components – Recommendations for headings, buttons, containers, and sections that can be adapted and reused across the website as it grows.

  • Consistent Section Styling – A clear design pattern that integrates well with the existing layout while maintaining a clean, structured look.

  • Spacing & Layout Guidelines – A well-balanced grid system with ample white space for a minimalist, uncluttered feel.

  • Subtle Animations & Effects – Suggestions for smooth, minimalist animations or hover effects to enhance engagement (without being flashy).

  • Custom CSS Recommendations (if needed) – While Elementor’s native styling is preferred, additional CSS may be considered if it aligns with the overall theme.

Requirements:

  • Experience designing modern, minimalist websites (not bold or trendy designs).

  • Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices.

  • Familiarity with Astra and Elementor (bonus if you’ve designed for these before).

  • Ability to build upon an existing design, rather than starting from scratch.

  • Experience in designing scalable UI components for future website expansion.

  • Attention to detail and consistency in design elements.

Deliverables:

  • Design input for the first half of the homepage and the footer, including style recommendations for key sections.

  • A style guide with color codes, typography choices, and spacing guidelines.

  • UI component mockups (headings, buttons, containers, sections) designed for future scalability and reuse.

  • Design recommendations that enhance the existing theme while maintaining consistency.

  • (Optional) Suggestions for animations or micro-interactions.

  • (Optional) Custom CSS snippets for elements that require additional styling.

💻 I will provide example websites that reflect the kind of design elements and structure I am aiming for to ensure we are aligned on expectations.

📷 I will also provide a PNG image of the homepage where I will mark areas that should not be redesigned. Everything else should be considered for a redesign.

Ownership & Rights:

I will own all exclusive rights/copyrights to the completed designs.

How to Apply:

This is a design-focused role, so no actual website development is needed—I’ll handle the build in Elementor. If you’re experienced in creating clean, adaptable, and functional web designs, I’d love to work with you!

When applying, please include:

  • Relevant portfolio examples (preferably minimalist website designs).

  • Your process for refining and expanding an existing website design.

  • Estimated turnaround time and pricing.

📌 Important: To ensure you’ve read the entire job posting, start your cover letter with "OBD Website Redesign - Design Concept." Applications without this phrase will be ignored.

Looking forward to working with a designer who understands and appreciates timeless, professional, and structured web design.
