Job Overview:
We are seeking a **Detail-Oriented ERP Data Entry Specialist** with experience in **auto parts** to join our team. This role involves ensuring that part numbers (MPNs) for dismantled parts are accurately recorded in our ERP system. For each vehicle processed, approximately 40-60 parts are dismantled, and the MPN for each part must be identified, typically from images. The ideal candidate must be able to recognize used parts from pictures and use resources such as **OEM part catalogs**—preferably **PartsLink24**—to verify MPNs. The job requires proficiency in handling **European spare parts**, especially German brands, and familiarity with **OEM part numbers (MPNs)**.
This is a remote position that requires a **dual monitor setup** for efficient multitasking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and verify the correct **OEM part number (MPN)** for dismantled parts by reviewing images and using reference catalogs.
- **Manually enter MPNs** into the ERP system for each of the 40-60 parts dismantled per vehicle.
- Ensure **accuracy** by cross-referencing part numbers against available **OEM catalogs** (preferably **PartsLink24**) and other databases.
- Track and document the status of parts, noting which have had their MPNs successfully added and which are missing or require further research.
- **Provide a daily report** summarizing both completed entries and unresolved parts.
- Collaborate with the dismantling team to resolve discrepancies or missing data related to part numbers.
- Meet daily **data entry targets** while maintaining high levels of **accuracy and attention to detail**.
Qualifications:
- **Experience with auto parts** and a solid understanding of **OEM part numbers (MPNs)** is required.
- Ability to identify used spare parts by their pictures.
- **Experience with OEM part catalogs** such as **PartsLink24** or similar platforms is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with **European spare parts**, particularly German brands, is essential.
- Prior experience working with **ERP systems** in the auto parts or vehicle recycling industry is a plus.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure the accurate handling of part numbers.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with team members to resolve issues.
- Must have a **dual monitor setup** to ensure efficiency in handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
