We seek an exceptional PHP WordPress Developer with expertise in Elementor Pro customizations, JavaScript, and database management. The ideal candidate must have experience working on custom-built WordPress websites, particularly those with advanced navigation and database-driven features. This position is for a skilled professional who can tackle immediate tasks and demonstrate their capabilities through a test project, with potential for long-term collaboration as we expand our portfolio of websites.
Primary Responsibilities
- Modify and maintain custom-built WordPress pages developed using Elementor Pro with additional PHP and JavaScript enhancements.
- Ensure layout changes are page-specific without affecting global navigation or database integrity.
- Implement a custom contact form where the completed form, upon submission, is sent as an image with the input data to a specified inbox.
- Modify hero graphics on specified pages, ensuring seamless integration with the current design.
- Enhance the Viewpoints page by adding a table of contents to display content categorized by hierarchy: Category, Subject, Area, Topic, and Subtopic.
- Incorporate rich media content such as podcasts and videos into the Viewpoints page.
- Use the existing database to profile and manage content assets within the Viewpoints page, allowing easy addition, recall, and monitoring of hierarchical structures.
- Develop and document processes to ensure the website is scalable and maintainable for future enhancements.
- Work closely with the team to ensure alignment with design, functionality, and performance requirements.
- Provide progress updates and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
Skills and Expertise Required
- Advanced PHP and custom WordPress development, including Elementor Pro customization.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with MySQL and database-driven WordPress websites.
- Knowledge of API integration and managing third-party plugins.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance issues.
Test Project Scope
- Contact Form: Create a form submission process where the form image, with user-entered data, is sent to a specified inbox.
- Hero Graphics: Update hero graphics on specific pages as per provided screenshots.
- Viewpoints Page Enhancements: Add a table of contents to organize thought leadership content based on the provided hierarchy and integrate support for rich media content, audio, and video.
