Position Overview:
We’re hiring a Senior Accountant / Controller (Multi-Entity) to manage the financial operations of several U.S.-based businesses: a production company, real estate holdings, and hotel assets. You’ll handle high-level financial reporting, tax forecasting, and team coordination — all in a full-time, remote role with flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee multiple QuickBooks Online accounts and ensure accurate, audit-ready books
• Consolidate financial reports and deliver key insights to the owner
• Build budgets, cash flow projections, and perform tax forecasting
• Collaborate with U.S.-based tax preparers; ensure proper real estate tax treatment (e.g., MACRS depreciation)
• Review work from bookkeepers and coordinate with internal/external teams
• Establish and document SOPs for financial workflows
• Submit clear, regular reports to leadership
Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in senior accounting or multi-entity control
• Strong command of U.S. accounting and tax practices, especially real estate
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online, Google Sheets, HubSpot, and remote collaboration tools
• Excellent communication skills, highly organized, self-directed
• Experience working with remote teams
Bonus Points For:
• CPA or similar certification
• Real estate or hotel accounting experience
• Familiarity with tools like Zapier, Notion, Zoom, or Slack
Work Schedule:
Full-time (40 hours/week)
Monday–Thursday & Saturday (8-hour days)
U.S. business hours (preferably EST)
