Job Title: ERP Developer
Work time - 8:30 pm to 5 am IST (Night Shift)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled In-House Billing Module Developer to design, develop, and maintain our billing system. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, knowledge of financial processes, and expertise in security measures. The developer will be responsible for creating a robust, scalable, and secure billing system that integrates with third-party payment APIs and ensures compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop a comprehensive billing system using programming languages such as Python, Java, PHP, or Ruby
- Implement deep knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) for transaction management
- Work with frameworks (Ruby, Express.js, Django) to create a scalable architecture
- Integrate third-party payment APIs (PayPal, WePay, Stripe) and ensure PCI DSS compliance
- Develop automated tools for testing and tracking performance of the billing system
- Ensure region-specific transaction tax calculations
and multiple currency exchange rates for international business
- Implement data encryption best practices for credit card and customer data
- Collaborate with the team to ensure fraud detection and prevention measures are in place
Requirements:
- 5 to 10 yrs experience in development, with a focus on billing systems
- Strong technical skills in programming languages (Python, Java, PHP, Ruby) and SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Experience with frameworks (Ruby, Express.js, Django) and third-party payment APIs (PayPal, WePay, Stripe)
- Knowledge of financial best practices, security processes, and PCI DSS compliance
- Ability to create automated tools for testing and tracking performance
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have:
Experience with cloud-based technologies and scalable architecture
- Knowledge of machine learning or artificial intelligence for fraud detection
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
