I have worked for over 20 years in the bookkeeping industry. During this time I initiated several new programs for recording accounting information so as to improve productivity and eliminate errors. I also provided an internal audit mechanism that was not only user friendly but easy to understand. Several other functions were automated relieving the need for additional personnel. From journal entries, financial reports were prepared resulting in a balance sheet and profit and loss statement. The monthly balancing included accounts receivable, accounts payable and multiple bank statements. Compilations of these reports were then sent to the accountant along with any necessary ledgers of individual journal entries for preparation of yearly taxes and audits. I have done reconstructive data input for companies to produce financial reports and balance bank statements to bring them current as well as provided analysis of office workflow for startup companies and existing companies in need of organization. On a weekly basis I ran payroll for hourly, salaried and monthly commission. Quarterly I produced and paid 940, 941 and UCT-6 reports. A few of the software products I have worked with include Quick Books, Money, Account mate and Microsoft Office.
