Not for everyone - "Reactive Marketing" 'pulls a punch' but if you want publicity, attention or to captivate your audience by using slightly 'off-the-wall', topical trends, political content or slightly humorous or puzzling images and slogans for a marketing campaign - Reactive Marketing is the way to go!
I first used reactive marketing during COVID - I run a part-time seamstress business altering wedding and prom dresses and during COVID my business basically 'dried up'. One of many that now believe that COVID was a manipulative way to crowd control and kill cash, I made a few face masks. Destroyed with boredom during lockdown, one day I decided to pin two of them on a dressmakers dummy ... covering the bust and making the masks into a 'bra-like' fashion. I posted this image taken with my mobile on facebook; the reception was mixed as you can imagine! Particularly since the slogan beneath said:
"Well come on, one day soon we will have to find a new use for these masks - here's my idea"
I made contact with a lot of old friends, nevertheless - even if it did raise a few eyebrows!
What is the saying - Any publicity is good publicity? It worked :)
