Content Writing and Editing

I will write or edit the content for your website, publication, or blog. We will work together to craft the articulation of the content in such a way as to enhance its meaning. As a writer and editor, this is exactly what matters most to me: the symbiosis of form and content. Form (i.e. syntax and style) is a science. It pays to know the fine-print of English grammar, to read other great writers, and to remember your audience. If you tell me what you want to say, I'll help figure out the best way to say it. The goal is to use form to reinforce your content and thus your message. Writing good content is equally a creative and a procedural endeavor. Creativity comes up with interesting ideas to say, but the task of combing through those ideas, prioritizing them, and allocating them into words is by and large procedural. We will both come up with the ideas around which the content will reside and decide how to organize these ideas given your audience. Content always has a context; I'll help you find it.
