Won a national jazz performance award in high school. Toured Texas with my band in 2003-2004 (now defunct, but I have some great recordings). I excell at the critical process. This includes the ability to think in the abstract, to problem solve (or even create interesting problems) or to wax poetic. However, it also includes an awareness of myself and the process of writing. This means I understand that writing is a craft and not just some emotion spattered on the page.
