Criminal Defense Paralegal

$15/hr Starting at $50

I have spent over 6 years in law either as a Utah criminal defense paralegal, a Utah administrative law hearing officer, or an assistant at the Washington State Attorney General's office for Social and Family Services. I specialize in driving under the influence, and possession cases as I have worked both as a paralegal for the alleged perpetrator and as the Driver License administrative law Hearing Officer determining if the officer's performed arrests correctly, and if the client was in violation of administrative law. Additionally I took the field sobriety test training three times, and the drug recognition training once. I know what to look for in videos, audios, officer reports and testimonies. Being exposed to family law while in Washington taught me I am able to learn and adapt to different state and different types of law making me a versatile candidate for anyone needing paralegal work completed quickly, accurately by one with great experience, and who values confidentiality. I am passionate about criminal law. If 9 out of 10 of my clients are guilty, I am working to reduce their sentences with attorneys so our one innocent client gets the justice they deserve. I am willing to drive to the office on occasion as long as I have notice. My hours of working are flexible. I am able to fulfill most job offer time requests. While the rate states $15 an hour, depending on what the task is it may range from $12-$16. It is negotiable. The budget listed is in case one needs me in an Utah office for an extended amount of time.
