I have more than 20 years of teaching experience in degree engineering college. I am ISTE Student Chapter Coordinator for many years. Under the banner of ISTE, I had organized many events such as STTPs, Workshops, Seminars, Expert Talks, etc. I handled the portfolio of International students. I did consultancy work of design and manufacturing of Power System Protection Lab Panels, supplied to many engineering colleges of Gujarat.

During my academic carrier, I guided 2 PhD scholars, 8 ME and 68 BE and 8 ME students. Presently, I am guiding 3 PhD students studying under Gujarat Technological University. I have published more than 20 papers in various peer reviewed/UGC approved international journals and more than 10 papers in various international conferences. I am working as a reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery, IET-GTD, Taylor & Francis - Electric Power Components and Systems. I have written a book “Power System Protection and Switchgear” published by Tata Mc-Graw Hill in 2010; and also written a monograph “Transmission Line Protection Using Digital Technology” published by Springer in 2016.
