In my vision, the teaching-learning process would be guided by rigorous academic standards and high expectations, while being supported by data and technology.
I am working as Professor in Electrical Engineering Department of G H Patel College of Engineering & Technology, Vallabh Vidyanagar. I completed BE (Electrical Engineering) and ME (Electrical Power Systems) from BVM Engineering College, Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar, in 1999 and 2002, respectively. I obtained PhD (Electrical Engineering) from Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar, in 2013.
I have more than 20 years of experience in teaching and research. My research interest includes power system protection, power system stability and control, power system modeling and simulation, Reactive Power Compensation and FACTS. During my academic carrier, I guided 2 PhD, 8 ME and 70 BE students. Presently, I am guiding 3 PhD students studying under Gujarat Technological University.
I have published many papers in various peer reviewed international journals and conferences. I have written a book "Power System Protection and Switchgear", which was published by Tata Mc-Graw Hill, New Delhi, India, in 2010. I have also written a monograph "Transmission Line Protection Using Digital Technology", which was published by Springer, Singapore, in 2016.
