As an artist with both a keen eye for detail and a passion for language, I've developed an ability to spot inconsistencies and errors in text. My experience in painting has enhanced my appreciation for nuance and flow. While I'm new to professional proofreading, I´ve done some as a translator and my experience with online tests and MOOCs has improved my already strong foundation in grammar, punctuation, and spelling. All this and my different mindset as an artist, makes me an asset to any proofreading project.

As an Argentinian I’ve studied English as a second language. I think this could be even better than having a native speaker when it comes to noticing errors because I’ve been taught things a native English-speaking person wasn’t because they developed the language naturally. Since I´ve been studying all my life, I’m practically bilingual, a C2 level by international standards, basically I´m fluent. I believe I have the best of both worlds, the ease of thinking in English like a native and all the knowledge a student gets. Also, having English as my second language and having to occasionally check grammar or syntax rules made having research skills a must, something every proofreader needs.
