I am a highly skilled writer and editor who has worked for small businesses, a Fortune 500 company, and just about everything in between. I graduated summa cum laude from Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University with a major in Creative Writing, a minor in History, and a certificate in Sales/Marketing. During my college years, I interned for 2 years in U-Haul International's Internal Communications Department, where I helped write, edit and publish stories for the company's monthly employee magazine (U-Haul News). In addition, I interned as an Editorial Assistant for AZ BIG Media, a Phoenix-based media firm that publishes Ranking Arizona, AZ Business, and other well-known AZ-focused business and real estate magazines. I also interned as a Podcast Blogger for the Superstition Review, which is an online literary magazine that publishes poetry, fiction, and other creative works from emerging and established artists nationwide. As part of my job duties, I planned and published a weekly podcast series called "Authors Talk" on Superstition Review's blog, which featured a variety of interviews, discussions, and monologues from various authors on different aspects of their life and work. I currently work as an Email Marketing Specialist for The Rainmaker Institute, which is widely known as the nation's premier legal marketing firm. In my position, I manage the production and dissemination of various monthly newsletters for 34 small to medium-sized law firms across the country. I edit the work of our contract writers as needed, and interface with clients to ensure their continued satisfaction with our services. I am a painstaking proofreader with a love for grammar and a drive to produce nothing less than the best possible work.
