I'm a highly skilled writer and editor with a passion for proofreading and a love of English grammar. I've worked for individuals, businesses, and Fortune 500 companies.
I have always loved to read and write! In college, I gained exposure to and experience in multiple forms of writing, from literary fiction to local journalism and corporate communications. As a Creative Writing undergraduate in Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University, I had the opportunity to intern for both AZ BIG Media (a business and real-estate magazine agency in Phoenix) as an Editorial Assistant, and for U-Haul International in their Internal Communications Department. There, my colleagues and I wrote and published dozens of articles for U-Haul's company-wide employee magazine (U-Haul News) on a monthly basis. We also provided a variety of human-interest pieces and other content for U-Haul's employee intranet.
Post-college, I worked full-time as an Email Marketing Specialist for The Rainmaker Institute, where I managed our monthly newsletter service for our legal marketing clients. I collaborated with lawyers from small to medium-sized firms across the country to create and send out customizable newsletters to their client base. I love working with clients of all kinds, and enjoy helping them achieve their individual goals.
Nowadays, as a Recruiting Administrative Assistant for the U-Haul Contact Center, I strive to ensure that all of the incoming employees with whom I work have a positive and personalized experience, and feel as those they have been served well. In short, I am someone who prides herself on consistently producing superior, high-quality work.
As a freelance writer, I have helped craft website copy for small business owners and agencies in the Phoenix area. I enjoy working with clients and have quick turn-around times. If you are in the market for a reliable, dependable, and friendly proofreader with a strong track record of success, I am the person for you. Writing is my passion, and serving others is my joy.
Shoot me an email or give me a call if you want to know more. I look forward to hearing from you!
Work Terms
I prefer to work about 10 or less hours per week, but I am flexible. I charge $12 an hour, but am open to working for a fixed price or in other formats as needed. My work terms adapt according to the needs of my client- they're my first priority!
