Digital illustration forms the more 'fun' part of my particular skillset. All Illustrations are handdrawn to begin with, either utilising pens or pencils and paper. Clients are offered a few options to choose from at this stage at which point rough digital mock-ups are done for each illustration. A client then needs to decide which of these mock-ups works best for them before the detailed digital illustration is done. Digital illustration is a time-consuming process and requires finesse and a good eye for detail. As such it can also be costly, but this depends entirely on the complexity of the illustration required. A simple logo design will cost a lot less than a character design for example for the simple reason that it takes a lot less time to complete. While I sell a certain set of skills the important factor to remember is that in actuality I sell my time, and it is that which you will end up paying for, along with the finished product of course should you be satisfied with it. Thanks.
